2026 Australian Bluewater Classic: Competition Program
REGISTRATION - FRIDAY 20/3/2026
REGISTRATION AND BRIEFING: 15:00 - 18:00
VENUE: Woolgoolga C.ex Club
All competitors must have registered their attendance by 5pm on 20 March 2026. Fees only include competition registration. Competition shirts are available for sale. Competitors and guests wishing to attend the presentation night dinner may purchase tickets at this time.
The briefing will be livestreamed on the Coffs Harbour Bluewater Freedivers Facebook page. Competitors must attend the briefing that starts at 5pm. Competitors attending online may be asked to confirm their presence during briefing.
All competitors once registered will be regarded as having read all the rules. Any queries on the rules will be answered by the Organising Committee.

COMPETITION DAY 1 - SATURDAY 21/3/2026
SIGN ON: 05:00 – 08:00
VENUE: Competitors can launch from different locations within the designated area provided the boat captain has logged on.
All boats must sign on via Marine Rescue Woolgoolga. Sign on opens at 05:00 and will run until 08:00, competitors can commence diving once signed on.
SIGN OFF AND WEIGH IN: 15:00
VENUE: Woolgoolga Beach Reserve
All boats must sign off with Marine Rescue Woolgoolga. All individual competitors must sign off with the Timekeeper at the weigh station by 15:00 sharp! (Note that weigh-in will not open under 14:30). The days fish will be weighed in at the Woolgoolga Beach Reserve (adjacent to the sign-off area). The sign off and weigh in will be accompanied by a BBQ. Subject to NSW DPI approvals, a fish auction may be held with the proceeds going to Marine Rescue NSW.

The days fish will be weighed in at the Woolgoolga Beach Reserve (adjacent to the sign-off area). The sign off and weigh in will be accompanied by a BBQ. Subject to NSW DPI approvals, a fish auction will be held with the proceeds going to Marine Rescue NSW.
DINNER & PRESENTATION - SUNDAY 22/3/26

Important Notes:
In the event of cancellation of one day’s diving due to bad weather and conditions, only one day's fishing will be scored. No other fishing time will occur. Presentation dinner will occur as scheduled.
If both Saturday and Sunday events are cancelled due to bad weather, then the weekend will be rescheduled to 18 and 19 April 2026. If this is not possible, divers will receive a refund.
Fish must be kept properly on ice for human consumption. Competitors are responsible for the adequate management of their catch, regarding freshness and suitability, for the weigh-in and auction.
